- Shemot 30:1
And make an altar for burning incense, of acacia wood shall you make it.
- Shemot 30:2
. . .
Its length a cubit, and its breadth a cubit — and let it be square — and its height two cubits; its horns shall be from it.
- Shemot 30:3
. . . .
And overlay it with pure gold — its top and its walls all around, and its horns — and make for it a rim of gold all around.
- Shemot 30:4
. . . . .
And two rings of gold shall you make for it below its rim, on its two sides — thus on both its sides — they shall be places for the poles, by which it is carried.
- Shemot 30:5
.
And make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold.
- Shemot 30:6
. . .
And set it before the curtain that is upon the ark of the testimony, before the cover that is upon the testimony, where I shall present Myself to you there.
- Shemot 30:7
. .
And Aaron shall burn incense upon it — from the incense of resins — every morning; when he tends the lamp, he shall burn incense with it.
- Shemot 30:8
. . .
And likewise when he lights the lamp between the two times of sunset, he shall burn incense with it — a continual burning of incense before God, for your generations.
- Shemot 30:9
. .
You shall not burn upon it any strange incense, nor a burnt-offering, nor a gift-offering; and a libation you shall not pour upon it.
- Shemot 30:10
. . . .
And Aaron shall seek atonement at its horns once a year, from the blood of the sacrifice of the Day of Atonement; once a year he shall seek atonement at it for your generations — it is of the choicest of holy things, belonging to God.
- Shemot 30:11
Then God spoke to Moses in speech.
- Shemot 30:12
. . .
When you have tallied the total of the sons of Israel by their number, each man shall give a ransom for himself to God when you count them, so that no plague shall befall them at that time.
- Shemot 30:13
. . . .
This is what every one who passes through the count shall give: half a mithqal, by the mithqal of the sanctuary — twenty daniqs to the mithqal — half of it is a contribution to God.
- Shemot 30:14
. .
Every one who passes through the count, from twenty years of age and upward, shall give a contribution to God.
- Shemot 30:15
. . . .
The well-off shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less, than half a mithqal — so give a contribution to God, and make atonement for yourselves.
- Shemot 30:16
. . . .
And take the silver of atonement from the sons of Israel, and direct it to the service of the tent of assembly; and it shall be for the sons of Israel a remembrance before God, and an atonement for yourselves.
- Shemot 30:17
Then God spoke to Moses in speech.
- Shemot 30:18
. . .
And make a basin of copper, and its base of copper, for washing; and set it between the tent of assembly and the altar, and put water in it.
- Shemot 30:19
.
And Aaron and his sons shall wash from it — their hands and their feet.
- Shemot 30:20
. . .
Upon their entry into the tent of assembly, they shall wash with water and shall not perish; and upon their approach to the altar to draw near and burn an offering to God,
- Shemot 30:21
.
they shall wash their hands and their feet and shall not perish. And this shall be for them an ordinance forever — for him and his sons, for their generations.
- Shemot 30:22
Then God spoke to Moses in speech.

. . .
And you — take for yourself the choicest of spices: of pure musk, five hundred mithqals; and of fragrant aloeswood, half of it — two hundred and fifty mithqals; and of aromatic reed, two hundred and fifty;
- Shemot 30:24
. .
and of costus, five hundred mithqals, by the mithqal of the sanctuary; and of olive oil, a full qist.
- Shemot 30:25
. .
And make of these the holy anointing oil — a perfumed blend, the craft of a perfumer; thus shall it be the holy anointing oil.
- Shemot 30:26

- Shemot 30:27

. .
and the table and all its vessels, and the lampstand and its vessels, and the altar of incense,
- Shemot 30:28

. . .
