1. Bereshit 16:1

   וְשָׂרַי אֵשֶׁת אַבְרָם לֹא יָלְדָה לוֹ וְלָהּ שִׁפְחָה מִצְרִית וּשְׁמָהּ הָגָר

   ושרי זוגה' אברם. לם תלד לה. ולהא אמה מצרייה אסמהא הגר

   And Sarai the wife of Abram had not borne him [children]; and she had an Egyptian maidservant whose name was Hagar.

2. Bereshit 16:2

   וַתֹּאמֶר שָׂרַי אֶל-אַבְרָם הִנֵּה-נָא עֲצָרַנִי יְהוָה מִלֶּדֶת--בֹּא-נָא אֶל-שִׁפְחָתִי אוּלַי אִבָּנֶה מִמֶּנָּה וַיִּשְׁמַע אַבְרָם לְקוֹל שָׂרָי

   פקאלת שרי לאברם. הוד'א קד מנעני אללה מן אלולאד. אדכ'ל אלי' אמתי. לעל יבנא ביתי מנהא. פקבל אברם כלאם שרי

   And Sarai said to Abram: 'Behold, God has held me back from bearing — enter to my maidservant; perhaps my house will be built up from her.' And Abram accepted the words of Sarai.

3. Bereshit 16:3

   וַתִּקַּח שָׂרַי אֵשֶׁת-אַבְרָם אֶת-הָגָר הַמִּצְרִית שִׁפְחָתָהּ מִקֵּץ עֶשֶׂר שָׁנִים לְשֶׁבֶת אַבְרָם בְּאֶרֶץ כְּנָעַן וַתִּתֵּן אֹתָהּ לְאַבְרָם אִישָׁהּ לוֹ לְאִשָּׁה

   פאכ'ד'ת שרי זוגה' אברהם. הגר אלמצרייה אמתהא בעד עשר סנין. מן מקאם אברם פי בלד כנעאן. פאעטתהא לאברם זוגהא לתכון לה זוגה

   And Sarai the wife of Abram took Hagar the Egyptian, her maidservant, after ten years of Abram's dwelling in the land of Canaan; and she gave her to Abram her husband, to be a wife for him.

4. Bereshit 16:4

   וַיָּבֹא אֶל-הָגָר וַתַּהַר וַתֵּרֶא כִּי הָרָתָה וַתֵּקַל גְּבִרְתָּהּ בְּעֵינֶיהָ

   פדכ'ל אלי' הגר וחמלת. פלמא ראת אנהא קד חמלת. האנת סיידתהא ענדהא

   And he came to Hagar, and she conceived; and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was diminished in her eyes.

5. Bereshit 16:5

   וַתֹּאמֶר שָׂרַי אֶל-אַבְרָם חֲמָסִי עָלֶיךָ--אָנֹכִי נָתַתִּי שִׁפְחָתִי בְּחֵיקֶךָ וַתֵּרֶא כִּי הָרָתָה וָאֵקַל בְּעֵינֶיהָ יִשְׁפֹּט יְהוָה בֵּינִי וּבֵינֶיךָ

   פקאלת שרי לאברם צ'למי עליך. אנא אעטיתך אמתי. פלמא ראת אנהא קד חמלת. הנת ענדהא. יחכם אללה ביני ובינך

   And Sarai said to Abram: 'My wrong is upon you! I gave you my maidservant; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was diminished in her eyes. May God judge between me and you.'

6. Bereshit 16:6

   וַיֹּאמֶר אַבְרָם אֶל-שָׂרַי הִנֵּה שִׁפְחָתֵךְ בְּיָדֵךְ--עֲשִׂי-לָהּ הַטּוֹב בְּעֵינָיִךְ וַתְּעַנֶּהָ שָׂרַי וַתִּבְרַח מִפָּנֶיהָ

   קאל להא אברם. הוד'א אמתך פי ידך. אצנעי בהא מא חסן ענדך. פעד'בתהא שרי. חתי' הרבת מן בין ידיהא

   Abram said to her: 'Behold, your maidservant is in your hand; do to her what is good in your eyes.' And Sarai afflicted her, until she fled from before her.

7. Bereshit 16:7

   וַיִּמְצָאָהּ מַלְאַךְ יְהוָה עַל-עֵין הַמַּיִם--בַּמִּדְבָּר עַל-הָעַיִן בְּדֶרֶךְ שׁוּר

   פוגדהא מלך אללה עלי' עין מא פי אלברייה. עלי' אלעין פי טריק חגר

   And the angel of God found her by a spring of water in the wilderness — by the spring on the road to Hajar (Shur).

8. Bereshit 16:8

   וַיֹּאמַר הָגָר שִׁפְחַת שָׂרַי אֵי-מִזֶּה בָאת--וְאָנָה תֵלֵכִי וַתֹּאמֶר--מִפְּנֵי שָׂרַי גְּבִרְתִּי אָנֹכִי בֹּרַחַת

   פקאל. יא הגר אמה' שרי. מן אין גית ואלי' אין תמצ'ין. קאלת. מן בין ידי שרי סיידתי. אנא הארבה

   And he said: 'O Hagar, maidservant of Sarai, whence have you come, and whither do you go?' She said: 'From before Sarai my mistress I am fleeing.'

9. Bereshit 16:9

   וַיֹּאמֶר לָהּ מַלְאַךְ יְהוָה שׁוּבִי אֶל-גְּבִרְתֵּךְ וְהִתְעַנִּי תַּחַת יָדֶיהָ

   וקאל להא מלך אללה. ארגעי אלי' סיידתך. ואסתכדמי תחת ידיהא

   And the angel of God said to her: 'Return to your mistress, and serve under her hands.'

10. Bereshit 16:10

    וַיֹּאמֶר לָהּ מַלְאַךְ יְהוָה הַרְבָּה אַרְבֶּה אֶת-זַרְעֵךְ וְלֹא יִסָּפֵר מֵרֹב

    ת'ם קאל להא לאכת'רן נסלך. חתי' לא יחצא מן כת'רה

    Then he said to her: 'I shall greatly multiply your offspring, so that it shall not be counted from its abundance.'

11. Bereshit 16:11

    וַיֹּאמֶר לָהּ מַלְאַךְ יְהוָה הִנָּךְ הָרָה וְיֹלַדְתְּ בֵּן וְקָרָאת שְׁמוֹ יִשְׁמָעֵאל כִּי-שָׁמַע יְהוָה אֶל-עָנְיֵךְ

    וקאל להא. הא אנת חאמל סתלדין אבנא . ותסמיה אסמאעיל. אד' סמע אללה לצ'עפך

    And he said to her: 'Behold, you are with child; you shall bear a son, and you shall name him Ishmael — for God has heard your affliction.

12. Bereshit 16:12

    וְהוּא יִהְיֶה פֶּרֶא אָדָם--יָדוֹ בַכֹּל וְיַד כֹּל בּוֹ וְעַל-פְּנֵי כָל-אֶחָיו יִשְׁכֹּן

    והו יכון וחשיא מן אלנאס. ידה פי אלכל. ויד אלכל פיה. ובחצ'רה' גמיע אכ'ותה יסכן

    And he shall be a wild one among people; his hand against all, and the hand of all against him; and in the presence of all his brothers shall he dwell.'

13. Bereshit 16:13

    וַתִּקְרָא שֵׁם-יְהוָה הַדֹּבֵר אֵלֶיהָ אַתָּה אֵל רֳאִי כִּי אָמְרָה הֲגַם הֲלֹם רָאִיתִי--אַחֲרֵי רֹאִי

    פאסמת אסם אללה אלמתגלי להא. אנת אלטאיק אלנאצ'ר. לאנהא קאלת. אני ראית ההנא רחמתך בעד רויאי אלשקא

    And she named the name of God, who had appeared to her: 'You are the Power who sees' — for she said: 'I have seen here Your mercy, after my vision of misery.'

14. Bereshit 16:14

    עַל-כֵּן קָרָא לַבְּאֵר בְּאֵר לַחַי רֹאִי--הִנֵּה בֵין-קָדֵשׁ וּבֵין בָּרֶד

    לד'אלך סמית אלביר. ביר אלחי אלנאצ'ר. הוד'א הי בין רקים ובין ברד

    Therefore the well was called the Well of the Living One who Sees; behold, it is between Rekem (Kadesh) and Bered.

15. Bereshit 16:15

    וַתֵּלֶד הָגָר לְאַבְרָם בֵּן וַיִּקְרָא אַבְרָם שֶׁם-בְּנוֹ אֲשֶׁר-יָלְדָה הָגָר יִשְׁמָעֵאל

    פולדת הגר. לאברם אבנא . פסמא אברם אבנה. אלד'י ולדת לה הגר אסמאעיל

    And Hagar bore to Abram a son; and Abram named his son, whom Hagar had borne him, Ishmael.

16. Bereshit 16:16

    וְאַבְרָם בֶּן-שְׁמֹנִים שָׁנָה וְשֵׁשׁ שָׁנִים בְּלֶדֶת-הָגָר אֶת-יִשְׁמָעֵאל לְאַבְרָם

    וכאן אברם. אבן סתה ות'מאנין סנה. חין ולדת הגר אסמאעיל לאברם

    And Abram was a son of eighty-six years when Hagar bore Ishmael to Abram.
