. . . . . . .
Then He said: 'I am the God of your father — the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.' And Moses covered his face, for he was afraid to look upon the light of God.
- Shemot 3:7
. . .
And He said: 'I have looked upon the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and I have heard their crying-out because of their taskmasters, and I have known their pains.

. . . . . . .
So I have appeared, to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land — to a good and wide land, a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

. . . .
And now — behold, the cry of the sons of Israel has reached me; and I have seen the oppression with which the Egyptians are oppressing them.

- Shemot 3:15

Go and gather the elders of the sons of Israel, and say to them: The Lord, the God of your fathers, has appeared to me — the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob — saying: I have remembered you, and what has been done to you in Egypt.
- Shemot 3:17
. . . . .

And when they accept from you, you shall enter — you and the elders of the sons of Israel — to the king of Egypt, and you shall say to him: The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has caused His decree to come upon us. So now — let us journey a distance of three days into the wilderness, and let us offer sacrifice to the Lord our God.
