- Vayikra 4:1
וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר
Then God spoke to Moses in speech.
- Vayikra 4:2
דַּבֵּר אֶל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לֵאמֹר--נֶפֶשׁ כִּי-תֶחֱטָא בִשְׁגָגָה מִכֹּל מִצְוֹת יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר לֹא תֵעָשֶׂינָה וְעָשָׂה מֵאַחַת מֵהֵנָּה
. . .
Command the sons of Israel, saying: any person who errs through inattention regarding the commandments of God which are not to be done, and does one of them —
- Vayikra 4:3
אִם הַכֹּהֵן הַמָּשִׁיחַ יֶחֱטָא לְאַשְׁמַת הָעָם וְהִקְרִיב עַל חַטָּאתוֹ אֲשֶׁר חָטָא פַּר בֶּן-בָּקָר תָּמִים לַיהוָה--לְחַטָּאת
. . . . .
if the anointed imām errs in the manner of the people's error, let him bring, for his transgression which he transgressed, a bull from the cattle, sound, as an offering to God.

וְהֵבִיא אֶת-הַפָּר אֶל-פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד--לִפְנֵי יְהוָה וְסָמַךְ אֶת-יָדוֹ עַל-רֹאשׁ הַפָּר וְשָׁחַט אֶת-הַפָּר לִפְנֵי יְהוָה
. . .
And he shall bring the bull to the entrance of the tent of the assembly, before God; and he shall lean his hand upon its head, and shall slaughter it before God.
- Vayikra 4:5
וְלָקַח הַכֹּהֵן הַמָּשִׁיחַ מִדַּם הַפָּר וְהֵבִיא אֹתוֹ אֶל-אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד

And the anointed imām shall take of its blood, and bring it into the tent of the assembly.

וְטָבַל הַכֹּהֵן אֶת-אֶצְבָּעוֹ בַּדָּם וְהִזָּה מִן-הַדָּם שֶׁבַע פְּעָמִים לִפְנֵי יְהוָה אֶת-פְּנֵי פָּרֹכֶת הַקֹּדֶשׁ
. .
And he shall dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle from it seven times before God, facing the veil of the sanctuary.

וְנָתַן הַכֹּהֵן מִן-הַדָּם עַל-קַרְנוֹת מִזְבַּח קְטֹרֶת הַסַּמִּים לִפְנֵי יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְאֵת כָּל-דַּם הַפָּר יִשְׁפֹּךְ אֶל-יְסוֹד מִזְבַּח הָעֹלָה אֲשֶׁר-פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד
. . . .
Then the imām shall put of the blood upon the horns of the altar of the incense of resins, before God, which is in the tent of the assembly; and the remainder of the blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of the burnt-offering which is at the entrance of the tent of the assembly.

וְאֶת-כָּל-חֵלֶב פַּר הַחַטָּאת יָרִים מִמֶּנּוּ--אֶת-הַחֵלֶב הַמְכַסֶּה עַל-הַקֶּרֶב וְאֵת כָּל-הַחֵלֶב אֲשֶׁר עַל-הַקֶּרֶב
. . .
And all the fat of the bull of the offering he shall remove from it — the caul covering the entrails, and the rest of the fat which is upon the entrails,
- Vayikra 4:9
וְאֵת שְׁתֵּי הַכְּלָיֹת וְאֶת-הַחֵלֶב אֲשֶׁר עֲלֵיהֶן אֲשֶׁר עַל-הַכְּסָלִים וְאֶת-הַיֹּתֶרֶת עַל-הַכָּבֵד עַל-הַכְּלָיוֹת יְסִירֶנָּה
. . . .
and the two kidneys, and the fat which is upon them, which is upon the viscera, and the lobe of the liver — together with the kidneys he shall remove them.

כַּאֲשֶׁר יוּרַם מִשּׁוֹר זֶבַח הַשְּׁלָמִים וְהִקְטִירָם הַכֹּהֵן עַל מִזְבַּח הָעֹלָה
. .
As it is raised from the bull of the peace-offering; and the imām shall burn them in smoke upon the altar of the burnt-offering.
- Vayikra 4:11
וְאֶת-עוֹר הַפָּר וְאֶת-כָּל-בְּשָׂרוֹ עַל-רֹאשׁוֹ וְעַל-כְּרָעָיו וְקִרְבּוֹ וּפִרְשׁוֹ

And the hide of the bull and all its flesh, together with its head and its legs, and its belly and its dung —
- Vayikra 4:12
וְהוֹצִיא אֶת-כָּל-הַפָּר אֶל-מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה אֶל-מָקוֹם טָהוֹר אֶל-שֶׁפֶךְ הַדֶּשֶׁן וְשָׂרַף אֹתוֹ עַל-עֵצִים בָּאֵשׁ עַל-שֶׁפֶךְ הַדֶּשֶׁן יִשָּׂרֵף
. . . .
he shall carry all of it outside the camp, to a clean place, to the place where the ash is cast, and shall burn it upon wood with fire; at the place where the ash is cast it shall be burned.

וְאִם כָּל-עֲדַת יִשְׂרָאֵל יִשְׁגּוּ וְנֶעְלַם דָּבָר מֵעֵינֵי הַקָּהָל וְעָשׂוּ אַחַת מִכָּל-מִצְוֹת יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר לֹא-תֵעָשֶׂינָה--וְאָשֵׁמוּ
. . . .
And if a congregation from all the house of Israel errs, and a matter is hidden from the eyes of the assembly, and they do one of the commandments of God which are not to be done, and they sin —
- Vayikra 4:14
וְנוֹדְעָה הַחַטָּאת אֲשֶׁר חָטְאוּ עָלֶיהָ--וְהִקְרִיבוּ הַקָּהָל פַּר בֶּן-בָּקָר לְחַטָּאת וְהֵבִיאוּ אֹתוֹ לִפְנֵי אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד
. . . . .
then the transgression which they committed becomes known: let the assembly bring a bull from the cattle as an offering, and bring it to the entrance of the tent of the assembly.

וְסָמְכוּ זִקְנֵי הָעֵדָה אֶת-יְדֵיהֶם עַל-רֹאשׁ הַפָּר--לִפְנֵי יְהוָה וְשָׁחַט אֶת-הַפָּר לִפְנֵי יְהוָה
. . .
And the elders of the congregation shall lean their hands upon the head of the bull before God; and it shall be slaughtered before God.

וְהֵבִיא הַכֹּהֵן הַמָּשִׁיחַ מִדַּם הַפָּר אֶל-אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד

וְאֵת כָּל-חֶלְבּוֹ יָרִים מִמֶּנּוּ וְהִקְטִיר הַמִּזְבֵּחָה

And all its fat he shall remove from it, and burn it in smoke upon the altar.

וְעָשָׂה לַפָּר--כַּאֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה לְפַר הַחַטָּאת כֵּן יַעֲשֶׂה-לּוֹ וְכִפֶּר עֲלֵהֶם הַכֹּהֵן וְנִסְלַח לָהֶם
. .
And he shall do with it as he did with the bull of the offering — thus shall he do with it; and the imām shall seek forgiveness for them, and they shall be forgiven.

וְהוֹצִיא אֶת-הַפָּר אֶל-מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה וְשָׂרַף אֹתוֹ כַּאֲשֶׁר שָׂרַף אֵת הַפָּר הָרִאשׁוֹן חַטַּאת הַקָּהָל הוּא
. . .
And he shall carry all of the bull outside the camp, and shall burn it, as he burned the first bull — it is the offering of the assembly.

אֲשֶׁר נָשִׂיא יֶחֱטָא וְעָשָׂה אַחַת מִכָּל-מִצְוֹת יְהוָה אֱלֹהָיו אֲשֶׁר לֹא-תֵעָשֶׂינָה בִּשְׁגָגָה--וְאָשֵׁם

And if a noble errs, and does one of the commandments of God his Lord which are not to be done, inadvertently, and so sins —
- Vayikra 4:23
אוֹ-הוֹדַע אֵלָיו חַטָּאתוֹ אֲשֶׁר חָטָא בָּהּ--וְהֵבִיא אֶת-קָרְבָּנוֹ שְׂעִיר עִזִּים זָכָר תָּמִים
. .
then his transgression which he transgressed becomes known: let him bring his offering, a he-goat from the goats, a male, sound.

וְסָמַךְ יָדוֹ עַל-רֹאשׁ הַשָּׂעִיר וְשָׁחַט אֹתוֹ בִּמְקוֹם אֲשֶׁר-יִשְׁחַט אֶת-הָעֹלָה לִפְנֵי יְהוָה חַטָּאת הוּא
. . .
And he shall lean his hand upon its head, and shall slaughter it in the place where the burnt-offering is slaughtered, before God — such is what constitutes an offering.

וְלָקַח הַכֹּהֵן מִדַּם הַחַטָּאת בְּאֶצְבָּעוֹ וְנָתַן עַל-קַרְנֹת מִזְבַּח הָעֹלָה וְאֶת-דָּמוֹ יִשְׁפֹּךְ אֶל-יְסוֹד מִזְבַּח הָעֹלָה

And the imām shall take of its blood with his finger, and shall place it upon the horns of the altar of the burnt-offering; and the rest of its blood he shall pour out at its base.

וְאֶת-כָּל-חֶלְבּוֹ יַקְטִיר הַמִּזְבֵּחָה כְּחֵלֶב זֶבַח הַשְּׁלָמִים וְכִפֶּר עָלָיו הַכֹּהֵן מֵחַטָּאתוֹ וְנִסְלַח לוֹ
. .
And all its fat he shall burn in smoke upon the altar, like the fat of the peace-offering; and the imām shall seek forgiveness for him from the transgression he transgressed, and he shall be forgiven.

וְאִם-נֶפֶשׁ אַחַת תֶּחֱטָא בִשְׁגָגָה מֵעַם הָאָרֶץ בַּעֲשֹׂתָהּ אַחַת מִמִּצְוֹת יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר לֹא-תֵעָשֶׂינָה--וְאָשֵׁם
. . .
And if a single person from among the common people of the land errs inadvertently, and does one of the commandments of God which are not to be done, and sins —
- Vayikra 4:28
אוֹ הוֹדַע אֵלָיו חַטָּאתוֹ אֲשֶׁר חָטָא--וְהֵבִיא קָרְבָּנוֹ שְׂעִירַת עִזִּים תְּמִימָה נְקֵבָה עַל-חַטָּאתוֹ אֲשֶׁר חָטָא
. . . .
then his transgression which he transgressed becomes known: let him bring his offering, a she-goat from the goats, sound, a female, for his transgression which he transgressed.

וְסָמַךְ אֶת-יָדוֹ עַל רֹאשׁ הַחַטָּאת וְשָׁחַט אֶת-הַחַטָּאת בִּמְקוֹם הָעֹלָה

And all its fat he shall remove, as the fat of the goats is removed from the peace-offering; and the imām shall burn it in smoke upon the altar, above the offerings to God; and the imām shall seek forgiveness for him, and he shall be forgiven.

וְאִם-כֶּבֶשׂ יָבִיא קָרְבָּנוֹ לְחַטָּאת--נְקֵבָה תְמִימָה יְבִיאֶנָּה
