    . . . . . .

And the serpent became wiser than every living creature of the wilderness which God had created. And he said to the woman: 'Verilydid God say, "You shall not eat from any tree of the garden"?'

  2. Bereshit 3:2

  3. Bereshit 3:3

  5. Bereshit 3:5

    . . . .

for God knows that on the day you eat from it, your eyes will burst open, and you will become like the angelsknowing good and evil in greater measure.'

  6. Bereshit 3:6

    . . . .

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for eating and pleasing in appearance, and an object of yearning for the intellectshe took from its fruit and ate; and she gave her husband too with her, and he ate.

  7. Bereshit 3:7

    . . . .

And the eyes of the two of them burst open, and they knew that they were naked; and they stitched together from the leaves of the fig, and made for themselves loincloths.

  8. Bereshit 3:8

    . . . .

He said: 'Who told you that you are naked? Is it from the tree which I commanded you not to eat from, that you have eaten?'

  12. Bereshit 3:12

  14. Bereshit 3:14

And enmity shall I set between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall crush you on the head, and you shall bite him on the heel.'

  16. Bereshit 3:16

    . . . . . .

  18. Bereshit 3:18
