1. Shemot 8:1

   וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה אֱמֹר אֶל-אַהֲרֹן נְטֵה אֶת-יָדְךָ בְּמַטֶּךָ עַל-הַנְּהָרֹת עַל-הַיְאֹרִים וְעַל-הָאֲגַמִּים וְהַעַל אֶת-הַצְפַרְדְּעִים עַל-אֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם

   פקאל אללה למוסי'. קל להרון. מד ידך בעצאך. עלי' אלאנהאר ואלכ'לגאן ואלאגאם. ואצעד אלצ'פאדע עלי' בלד מצר

   And God said to Moses: 'Say to Aaron: stretch forth your hand with your staff over the rivers and the channels and the pools, and bring up the frogs upon the land of Egypt.'

2. Shemot 8:2

   וַיֵּט אַהֲרֹן אֶת-יָדוֹ עַל מֵימֵי מִצְרָיִם וַתַּעַל הַצְּפַרְדֵּעַ וַתְּכַס אֶת-אֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם

   פמד הרון ידה. עלי' מיאת אלמצריון. פצעד אלצ'פאדע. וגטא בלד מצר

   And Aaron stretched forth his hand over the waters of the Egyptians, and the frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt.

3. Shemot 8:3

   וַיַּעֲשׂוּ-כֵן הַחַרְטֻמִּים בְּלָטֵיהֶם וַיַּעֲלוּ אֶת-הַצְפַרְדְּעִים עַל-אֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם

   וצנע. כד'אך אלעלמא בכ'פיהום. ואצעדו אלצ'פאדע עלי' בלד מצר

   And the learned men did likewise with their secret arts, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt.

4. Shemot 8:4

   וַיִּקְרָא פַרְעֹה לְמֹשֶׁה וּלְאַהֲרֹן וַיֹּאמֶר הַעְתִּירוּ אֶל-יְהוָה וְיָסֵר הַצְפַרְדְּעִים מִמֶּנִּי וּמֵעַמִּי וַאֲשַׁלְּחָה אֶת-הָעָם וְיִזְבְּחוּ לַיהוָה

   פדעא פרעון במוסי' והרון. וקאל אשפעו אלי' אללה. יזיל אלצ'פאדע. עני וען קומי. חתא אטלק אלקום. ידבחו ללה

   And Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said: 'Intercede with God, that He remove the frogs from me and from my people — and I will release the people, that they may sacrifice to God.'

5. Shemot 8:5

   וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה לְפַרְעֹה הִתְפָּאֵר עָלַי לְמָתַי אַעְתִּיר לְךָ וְלַעֲבָדֶיךָ וּלְעַמְּךָ לְהַכְרִית הַצְפַרְדְּעִים מִמְּךָ וּמִבָּתֶּיךָ רַק בַּיְאֹר תִּשָּׁאַרְנָה

   קאל לה מוסי' אקתרח עליי. מתא תשא אן אשפע לך. ולקואדך וקומך. פינקטע אלצ'פאדע. ענך וען מנאזלך. ותבקא פי אלניל פקט

   Moses said to him: 'Propose to me: when do you wish that I intercede for you, and for your officers and your people, that the frogs be cut off from you and from your dwellings, and remain in the Nile only?'

6. Shemot 8:6

   וַיֹּאמֶר לְמָחָר וַיֹּאמֶר כִּדְבָרְךָ--לְמַעַן תֵּדַע כִּי-אֵין כַּיהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ

   קאל ג'דא. קאל כמא קלת. לכי תעלם. אנה ליס מתל אללה רבנא

   He said: 'Tomorrow.' He said: 'As you have said it shall be — so that you may know that there is none like God our Lord.'

7. Shemot 8:7

   וְסָרוּ הַצְפַרְדְּעִים מִמְּךָ וּמִבָּתֶּיךָ וּמֵעֲבָדֶיךָ וּמֵעַמֶּךָ רַק בַּיְאֹר תִּשָּׁאַרְנָה

   אד' תזול אלצ'פאדע. ענך וען מנאזלך וקואדך וקומך. ותבקא פי אלניל פקט

   For the frogs shall depart from you and from your dwellings and your officers and your people, and remain in the Nile only.

8. Shemot 8:8

   וַיֵּצֵא מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן מֵעִם פַּרְעֹה וַיִּצְעַק מֹשֶׁה אֶל-יְהוָה עַל-דְּבַר הַצְפַרְדְּעִים אֲשֶׁר-שָׂם לְפַרְעֹה

   פלמא כ'רג מוסי' והרון מן ענד פרעון דעי' מוסי' אלי' אללה. בסבב אלצ'פאדע אלתי אחלהא בפרעון

   And when Moses and Aaron went out from before Pharaoh, Moses called to God on account of the frogs which He had brought upon Pharaoh.

9. Shemot 8:9

   וַיַּעַשׂ יְהוָה כִּדְבַר מֹשֶׁה וַיָּמֻתוּ הַצְפַרְדְּעִים מִן-הַבָּתִּים מִן-הַחֲצֵרֹת וּמִן-הַשָּׂדֹת

   פצנע אללה כמא קאל מוסי'. פתמאות אלצ'פאדע. מן אלביות ואלדור ואלצ'יאע

   And God did as Moses had said; and the frogs died out of the houses and the courtyards and the villages.

10. Shemot 8:10

    וַיִּצְבְּרוּ אֹתָם חֳמָרִם חֳמָרִם וַתִּבְאַשׁ הָאָרֶץ

    וגמעוהא אנאבירא אנאבירא. פנתנת אלארץ' מנהא

    And they heaped them up in pile upon pile, and the land stank from them.

11. Shemot 8:11

    וַיַּרְא פַּרְעֹה כִּי הָיְתָה הָרְוָחָה וְהַכְבֵּד אֶת-לִבּוֹ וְלֹא שָׁמַע אֲלֵהֶם כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יְהוָה

    פלמא ראא פרעון. אן אלפרגה קד כאנת. תקל קלבה. ולם יקבל מנהמא. כמא קאל אללה

    And when Pharaoh saw that relief had come, he hardened his heart and did not accept from them — as God had said.

12. Shemot 8:12

    וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה אֱמֹר אֶל-אַהֲרֹן נְטֵה אֶת-מַטְּךָ וְהַךְ אֶת-עֲפַר הָאָרֶץ וְהָיָה לְכִנִּם בְּכָל-אֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם

    וקאל אללה למוסי'. קל להרון. מד עצאך. ואצ'רב תראב אלארץ'. יציר קמלא פי גמיע בלד מצר

    And God said to Moses: 'Say to Aaron: stretch forth your staff and strike the dust of the earth, that it become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.'

13. Shemot 8:13

    וַיַּעֲשׂוּ-כֵן וַיֵּט אַהֲרֹן אֶת-יָדוֹ בְמַטֵּהוּ וַיַּךְ אֶת-עֲפַר הָאָרֶץ וַתְּהִי הַכִּנָּם בָּאָדָם וּבַבְּהֵמָה כָּל-עֲפַר הָאָרֶץ הָיָה כִנִּים בְּכָל-אֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם

    פצנעו כד'אך. ומד הרון ידה בעצאה פצ'רב תראב אלארץ'. פצאר אלקמל פי אלנאס ואלבהאים. גמיע תראב אלארץ'. צאר קמלא פי גמיע בלד מצר

    And so they did: Aaron stretched forth his hand with his staff and struck the dust of the earth, and the lice came upon the people and the beasts — all the dust of the earth became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

14. Shemot 8:14

    וַיַּעֲשׂוּ-כֵן הַחַרְטֻמִּים בְּלָטֵיהֶם לְהוֹצִיא אֶת-הַכִּנִּים וְלֹא יָכֹלוּ וַתְּהִי הַכִּנָּם בָּאָדָם וּבַבְּהֵמָה

    פצנע כד'אך אלעלמא בכ'פיהום. ליכ'רגו אלקמל ולם יטיקו. פתבת אלקמל. פי אלנאס ואלבהאים

    And the learned men did likewise with their secret arts, to bring out the lice, but they could not; and the lice remained upon the people and the beasts.

15. Shemot 8:15

    וַיֹּאמְרוּ הַחַרְטֻמִּם אֶל-פַּרְעֹה אֶצְבַּע אֱלֹהִים הִוא וַיֶּחֱזַק לֵב-פַּרְעֹה וְלֹא-שָׁמַע אֲלֵהֶם כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יְהוָה

    פקאלת אלעלמא לפרעון. הד'א גריחה מן ענד אללה. פאשתד קלבה ולם יקבל מנהמא. כמא קאל אללה

    And the learned men said to Pharaoh: 'This is a calamity from God.' But his heart grew firm, and he did not accept from them — as God had said.

16. Shemot 8:16

    וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה הַשְׁכֵּם בַּבֹּקֶר וְהִתְיַצֵּב לִפְנֵי פַרְעֹה--הִנֵּה יוֹצֵא הַמָּיְמָה וְאָמַרְתָּ אֵלָיו כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה שַׁלַּח עַמִּי וְיַעַבְדֻנִי

    וקאל אללה למוסי. אדלג באלג'דאה וקף בין ידי פרעון. הוד'אה כ'ארג אלי' אלמא. וקל לה. כד'א קאל אללה. אטלק קומי יעבדוני

    And God said to Moses: 'Rise early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh — behold, he is going out to the water — and say to him: Thus says God: Release my people, that they may serve Me.'

17. Shemot 8:17

    כִּי אִם-אֵינְךָ מְשַׁלֵּחַ אֶת-עַמִּי--הִנְנִי מַשְׁלִיחַ בְּךָ וּבַעֲבָדֶיךָ וּבְעַמְּךָ וּבְבָתֶּיךָ אֶת-הֶעָרֹב וּמָלְאוּ בָּתֵּי מִצְרַיִם אֶת-הֶעָרֹב וְגַם הָאֲדָמָה אֲשֶׁר-הֵם עָלֶיהָ

    לאנך אן אבית אן תטלק קומי. האנא באעת' עליך . ועלי' קודאך וסאיר קומך. ומנאזלך כלט אלוחש. חתא תמתלי מנה ביות אלמצריון. ואלארץ' אלד'י הם עליהא

    'For if you refuse to release my people, behold I am sending upon you, and upon your officers, and upon the rest of your people, and upon your dwellings, a mixture of wild beasts — until the houses of the Egyptians shall be filled with it, and the land upon which they dwell.'

18. Shemot 8:18

    וְהִפְלֵיתִי בַיּוֹם הַהוּא אֶת-אֶרֶץ גֹּשֶׁן אֲשֶׁר עַמִּי עֹמֵד עָלֶיהָ לְבִלְתִּי הֱיוֹת-שָׁם עָרֹב--לְמַעַן תֵּדַע כִּי אֲנִי יְהוָה בְּקֶרֶב הָאָרֶץ

    ואביין פי ד'אלך אליום בלד אלסדיר. אלד'י קומי מקים בה. ללא יכון ת'ם וחש. לכי תעלם. אני אללה מסלט עלי' גמיע אלעאלם

    'And I shall distinguish on that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwells, so that no wild beasts shall be there — so that you may know that I am God, sovereign over all the world.'

19. Shemot 8:19

    וְשַׂמְתִּי פְדֻת בֵּין עַמִּי וּבֵין עַמֶּךָ לְמָחָר יִהְיֶה הָאֹת הַזֶּה

    ואצייר פדאא לקומי ממא יחל בקומך. ג'דא תכון הד'ה אלאיה

    'And I shall set a ransom for my people from what shall befall your people. Tomorrow shall this sign be.'

20. Shemot 8:20

    וַיַּעַשׂ יְהוָה כֵּן וַיָּבֹא עָרֹב כָּבֵד בֵּיתָה פַרְעֹה וּבֵית עֲבָדָיו וּבְכָל-אֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם תִּשָּׁחֵת הָאָרֶץ מִפְּנֵי הֶעָרֹב

    פצנע אללה כד'אך. ודכ'ל וחש כת'יר. אלי' בית פרעון ובית קואדה. וגמיע בלד מצר. אנפסד מן קבל אלוחש

    And God did so; and a great multitude of wild beasts entered the house of Pharaoh and the house of his officers, and all the land of Egypt was ruined because of the wild beasts.

21. Shemot 8:21

    וַיִּקְרָא פַרְעֹה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה וּלְאַהֲרֹן וַיֹּאמֶר לְכוּ זִבְחוּ לֵאלֹהֵיכֶם--בָּאָרֶץ

    פדעא פרעון במוסי והרון. וקאל. אמצ'ו אדבחו לרבכם פי אלבלד

    And Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said: 'Go, sacrifice to your Lord within the land.'

22. Shemot 8:22

    וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה לֹא נָכוֹן לַעֲשׂוֹת כֵּן כִּי תּוֹעֲבַת מִצְרַיִם נִזְבַּח לַיהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ הֵן נִזְבַּח אֶת-תּוֹעֲבַת מִצְרַיִם לְעֵינֵיהֶם--וְלֹא יִסְקְלֻנוּ

    קאל מוסי'. לא נטיק אן נצנע ד'אלך. לאן מא יכרה אלמצריון. נדבחה ללה רבנא. פהל נדבח מא יכרהונה אלמצריון. בחצ'רתהום ולא ירגמונא

    Moses said: 'We cannot do that, for what the Egyptians abhor — that we sacrifice to God our Lord. Shall we then sacrifice what the Egyptians abhor in their very presence, and they not stone us?'

23. Shemot 8:23

    דֶּרֶךְ שְׁלֹשֶׁת יָמִים נֵלֵךְ בַּמִּדְבָּר וְזָבַחְנוּ לַיהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ כַּאֲשֶׁר יֹאמַר אֵלֵינוּ

    לכן מסאפה' ת'לאת'ה' איאם. נסיר פי אלבר. נדבח ללה רבנא. כמא יאמרנא

    'But a journey of three days we will go into the open country, and sacrifice to God our Lord, as He commands us.'

24. Shemot 8:24

    וַיֹּאמֶר פַּרְעֹה אָנֹכִי אֲשַׁלַּח אֶתְכֶם וּזְבַחְתֶּם לַיהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם בַּמִּדְבָּר--רַק הַרְחֵק לֹא-תַרְחִיקוּ לָלֶכֶת הַעְתִּירוּ בַּעֲדִי

    קאל פרעון. אנא אטלקכם תד'בחו ללה רבכם פי אלבר. עדא אבאעדא לא תבעדון פי אלמסיר. אשפעא עני

    Pharaoh said: 'I will release you, that you may sacrifice to God your Lord in the open country — only do not go far in the journey. Intercede on my behalf.'

25. Shemot 8:25

    וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי יוֹצֵא מֵעִמָּךְ וְהַעְתַּרְתִּי אֶל-יְהוָה וְסָר הֶעָרֹב מִפַּרְעֹה מֵעֲבָדָיו וּמֵעַמּוֹ מָחָר רַק אַל-יֹסֵף פַּרְעֹה הָתֵל לְבִלְתִּי שַׁלַּח אֶת-הָעָם לִזְבֹּחַ לַיהוָה

    קאל מוסי'. האנא כ'ארג מן ענדך ואשפע אלי' אללה. פיזיל אלוחש. ען פרעון וקואדה וקומה ג'דא. עדא אלסכ'רייה לא יעאודהא פרעון. ללא יטלק אלקום. ידבחון ללה

    Moses said: 'Behold, I am going out from before you, and I shall intercede with God, and He shall remove the wild beasts from Pharaoh and his officers and his people tomorrow — only let not Pharaoh repeat the mockery, by not releasing the people to sacrifice to God.'

26. Shemot 8:26

    וַיֵּצֵא מֹשֶׁה מֵעִם פַּרְעֹה וַיֶּעְתַּר אֶל-יְהוָה

    פלמא כ'רג מן ענדה שפע אלי' אללה

    And when he went out from before him, he interceded with God.

27. Shemot 8:27

    וַיַּעַשׂ יְהוָה כִּדְבַר מֹשֶׁה וַיָּסַר הֶעָרֹב מִפַּרְעֹה מֵעֲבָדָיו וּמֵעַמּוֹ לֹא נִשְׁאַר אֶחָד

    פצנע אללה כמא קאל מוסי'. וזאל אלוחש. מן פרעון וקואדה וקומה. לם יבק ואחד

    And God did as Moses had said; and the wild beasts departed from Pharaoh and his officers and his people — not one remained.

28. Shemot 8:28

    וַיַּכְבֵּד פַּרְעֹה אֶת-לִבּוֹ גַּם בַּפַּעַם הַזֹּאת וְלֹא שִׁלַּח אֶת-הָעָם

    פת'קל פרעון קלבה. הד'ה אלמרה איצ'א. ולם יטלק אלקום

    And Pharaoh hardened his heart this time also, and did not release the people.
