- Bereshit 9:1
. . .
And God blessed Noah and his sons; and He said to them: 'Bear fruit and multiply, and fill the earth.
- Bereshit 9:2
. . . .
And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon all the wild creatures of the earth, and upon the bird of the sky, and upon everything that creeps upon the earth, and upon the fish of the sea — they are delivered into your hands.
- Bereshit 9:3
. . .
And every pure living creeping thing shall be for you as food, just as the green herbage — I have given you everything.
- Bereshit 9:4
.
But the flesh — do not eat it with its blood, for that is its soul.
- Bereshit 9:5
. . .
But as for your own blood, from yourselves I shall require it by prohibition; and from the hand of the wild beast I shall require it by restraint; and from the hand of the rest of the people I shall require it by command. Any human who has killed his brother — I shall require his soul of him.
- Bereshit 9:6
. .
Such that whoever sheds the blood of a human — by another human shall his blood be shed; for in the form of God, sovereign, He made him.
- Bereshit 9:7
.
And you — bear fruit and multiply; move forth in the earth and multiply upon it.'

- Bereshit 9:10
. . . .
and with every living soul that is with you — from the bird to the beast, and all the wild creatures of the earth that are with you, of all that went out of the ark — for all the wild creatures of the earth.
- Bereshit 9:11
. . .
And I establish My covenant with you: no corporeal being shall ever again be cut off by the water of the flood; and never shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.'
- Bereshit 9:12

. . .
My bow — I have set it in the cloud; and it shall become a sign of covenant between Me and the dwellers of the earth.
- Bereshit 9:14
.
And when I cause cloud to gather over the earth, the bow shall appear in the cloud;
- Bereshit 9:15
. . . .
and I shall remember My covenant which is between Me and you, and between every living soul of every corporeal being; and the water shall not again become a flood to destroy every corporeal being.
- Bereshit 9:16
