1. Shemot 20:1

   וַיְדַבֵּר אֱלֹהִים אֵת כָּל-הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה לֵאמֹר

   ת'ם כלמהם אללה. בגמיע הד'א אלכלאם קאילא

   Then God spoke to them all of this discourse, saying:

2. Shemot 20:2

   אָנֹכִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ אֲשֶׁר הוֹצֵאתִיךָ מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם מִבֵּית עֲבָדִים

   אנא אללה רבך. אלד'י אכ'רגתך. מן בלד מצר מן בית אלעבודייה

   I am God your Lord, who brought you out from the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

3. Shemot 20:3

   לֹא-יִהְיֶה לְךָ אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים עַל-פָּנָי

   לא יכון לך מעבוד אכ'ר מן דוני.

   You shall have no other object of worship besides Me.

4. Shemot 20:4

   לֹא-תַעֲשֶׂה לְךָ פֶסֶל וְכָל-תְּמוּנָה אֲשֶׁר בַּשָּׁמַיִם מִמַּעַל וַאֲשֶׁר בָּאָרֶץ מִתָּחַת--וַאֲשֶׁר בַּמַּיִם מִתַּחַת לָאָרֶץ

   לא תצנע לך פסלא ולא שבהא. ממא פי אלסמא פי אלעלו. וממא פי אלארץ' פי אלספל וממא פי אלמא תחת אלארץ'.

   You shall not make for yourself a graven image nor a likeness — of what is in the sky in the heights, or of what is in the earth in the depths, or of what is in the water beneath the earth.

5. Shemot 20:5

   לֹא-תִשְׁתַּחֲוֶה לָהֶם וְלֹא תָעָבְדֵם כִּי אָנֹכִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ אֵל קַנָּא--פֹּקֵד עֲו‍ֹן אָבֹת עַל-בָּנִים עַל-שִׁלֵּשִׁים וְעַל-רִבֵּעִים לְשֹׂנְאָי

   לא תסגד להא ולא תעבדהא. לאני אללה רבך אלטאיק אלמעאקב. מטאלב בדנוב אלאבא מע אלבנין. ואלת'ואלת' ואלרואבע לשאניי.

   You shall not bow down to them nor worship them — for I am God your Lord, the Able, the Punisher, who demands the sins of the fathers together with the sons, and the third and the fourth generation, for those who hate Me;

6. Shemot 20:6

   וְעֹשֶׂה חֶסֶד לַאֲלָפִים--לְאֹהֲבַי וּלְשֹׁמְרֵי מִצְו‍ֹתָי

   וצאנע אלאחסאן לאלאלוף. מן מחביי וחאפצ'י וצאיאי

   and who does good to thousands, among those who love Me and keep My commandments.

7. Shemot 20:7

   לֹא תִשָּׂא אֶת-שֵׁם-יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ לַשָּׁוְא כִּי לֹא יְנַקֶּה יְהוָה אֵת אֲשֶׁר-יִשָּׂא אֶת-שְׁמוֹ לַשָּׁוְא

   לא תחלף באסם אללה רבך באטלא. לאן אללה לא יברי. מן יחלף באסמה באטלא

   You shall not swear by the name of God your Lord falsely — for God will not acquit one who swears by His name falsely.

8. Shemot 20:8

   זָכוֹר אֶת-יוֹם הַשַּׁבָּת לְקַדְּשׁוֹ

   אד'כר יום אלסבת וקדסה.

   Remember the day of the Sabbath and sanctify it.

9. Shemot 20:9

   שֵׁשֶׁת יָמִים תַּעֲבֹד וְעָשִׂיתָ כָּל-מְלַאכְתֶּךָ

   סתה' איאם תעמל ותצנע גמיע צנאיעך.

   Six days you shall labor and do all your crafts.

10. Shemot 20:10

    וְיוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי--שַׁבָּת לַיהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ לֹא-תַעֲשֶׂה כָל-מְלָאכָה אַתָּה וּבִנְךָ וּבִתֶּךָ עַבְדְּךָ וַאֲמָתְךָ וּבְהֶמְתֶּךָ וְגֵרְךָ אֲשֶׁר בִּשְׁעָרֶיךָ

    ואליום אלסאבע. סבת ללה רבך. לא תצנע שייא מן אלצנאיע. אנת ואבנך ואבנתך. עבדך ואמתך ובהאימך. וצ'יפך אלד'י פי מחלך.

    But the seventh day is a Sabbath to God your Lord — you shall do nothing of the crafts: you, and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your maidservant and your beasts, and your guest who is in your place.

11. Shemot 20:11

    כִּי שֵׁשֶׁת-יָמִים עָשָׂה יְהוָה אֶת-הַשָּׁמַיִם וְאֶת-הָאָרֶץ אֶת-הַיָּם וְאֶת-כָּל-אֲשֶׁר-בָּם וַיָּנַח בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי עַל-כֵּן בֵּרַךְ יְהוָה אֶת-יוֹם הַשַּׁבָּת--וַיְקַדְּשֵׁהוּ

    לאן אללה כ'לק פי סת איאם אלסמא ואלארץ'. ואלבחר וגמיע מא פיה. ואראחהא פי אליום אלסאבע. לד'אלך בארך אללה. פי יום אלסבת וקדסה

    For God created in six days the sky and the earth, and the sea and all that is in them, and gave them rest on the seventh day — therefore God bestowed His blessing upon the day of the Sabbath and sanctified it.

12. Shemot 20:12

    כַּבֵּד אֶת-אָבִיךָ וְאֶת-אִמֶּךָ--לְמַעַן יַאֲרִכוּן יָמֶיךָ עַל הָאֲדָמָה אֲשֶׁר-יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ נֹתֵן לָךְ

    אכרם אבאך ואמך. לכי תטול מדתך. פי אלבלד. אלד'י אללה רבך מעטיך

    Honor your father and your mother, so that your span of days may be long in the land which God your Lord is giving you.

13. Shemot 20:13

    לֹא תִרְצָח לֹא תִנְאָף לֹא תִגְנֹב לֹא-תַעֲנֶה בְרֵעֲךָ עֵד שָׁקֶר

    לא תקתל אלנפס. לא תזין. לא תסרק. לא תשהד עלי' צאחבך שהאדה באטלה

    You shall not kill a person. You shall not commit adultery. You shall not steal. You shall not bear false witness against your fellow.

14. Shemot 20:14

    לֹא תַחְמֹד בֵּית רֵעֶךָ לֹא-תַחְמֹד אֵשֶׁת רֵעֶךָ וְעַבְדּוֹ וַאֲמָתוֹ וְשׁוֹרוֹ וַחֲמֹרוֹ וְכֹל אֲשֶׁר לְרֵעֶךָ

    לא תתמן מנזל צאחבך. לא תתמן זוגתה. ועבדה ואמתה ות'ורה וחמארה. וגמיע מאלה

    You shall not covet the house of your fellow; you shall not covet his wife, nor his male servant and his maidservant and his ox and his donkey, and all that is his.

15. Shemot 20:15

    וְכָל-הָעָם רֹאִים אֶת-הַקּוֹלֹת וְאֶת-הַלַּפִּידִם וְאֵת קוֹל הַשֹּׁפָר וְאֶת-הָהָר עָשֵׁן וַיַּרְא הָעָם וַיָּנֻעוּ וַיַּעַמְדוּ מֵרָחֹק

    וגמיע אלקום ינצ'רון אלאצואת ואלפלאיל. וצות אלבוק. ואלגבל מתדכ'ן. פלמא ראו ד'אלך זעגו. ווקפו מן בעיד

    And all the people were beholding the thunderclaps and the bolts of fire, and the sound of the horn, and the mountain enveloped in smoke; and when they saw this, they were terrified, and they stood at a distance.

16. Shemot 20:16

    וַיֹּאמְרוּ אֶל-מֹשֶׁה דַּבֵּר-אַתָּה עִמָּנוּ וְנִשְׁמָעָה וְאַל-יְדַבֵּר עִמָּנוּ אֱלֹהִים פֶּן-נָמוּת

    וקאלו למוסי'. כלמנא אנת נסמע מנך. ולא יכלמנא אללה כלא נהלך

    And they said to Moses: 'Speak to us yourself — we will hear from you; but let not God speak to us, lest we perish.'

17. Shemot 20:17

    וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה אֶל-הָעָם אַל-תִּירָאוּ כִּי לְבַעֲבוּר נַסּוֹת אֶתְכֶם בָּא הָאֱלֹהִים וּבַעֲבוּר תִּהְיֶה יִרְאָתוֹ עַל-פְּנֵיכֶם--לְבִלְתִּי תֶחֱטָאוּ

    פקאל מוסי' לאלקום לא תכ'אפו. פאן לכי ימתחנכם. תגלא לכם נור אללה. ולכי תכון תקותה. פי קלובכם ללא תכ'טון

    And Moses said to the people: 'Do not fear — for it is in order to test you that the light of God appeared to you, and in order that His awe may be in your hearts, that you should not sin.'

18. Shemot 20:18

    וַיַּעֲמֹד הָעָם מֵרָחֹק וּמֹשֶׁה נִגַּשׁ אֶל-הָעֲרָפֶל אֲשֶׁר-שָׁם הָאֱלֹהִים

    פוקף אלקום מן בעיד. ומוסי' תקדם אלי' אלצ'באב. אלד'י ת'ם נור אללה

    And the people stood at a distance, while Moses drew near to the thick cloud where the light of God was.

19. Shemot 20:19

    וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה כֹּה תֹאמַר אֶל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אַתֶּם רְאִיתֶם--כִּי מִן-הַשָּׁמַיִם דִּבַּרְתִּי עִמָּכֶם

    פקאל אללה למוסי'. כד'א קל לבני אסראיל. אנתם שאהדתם. אני מן אלסמא כ'אטבתכם

    And God said to Moses: 'Thus say to the sons of Israel: You have witnessed that from the heavens I addressed you.'

20. Shemot 20:20

    לֹא תַעֲשׂוּן אִתִּי אֱלֹהֵי כֶסֶף וֵאלֹהֵי זָהָב לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ לָכֶם

    לא תצנעו מעי. מעבודאת מן פצ'ה ומעבודאת מן ד'הב. לא תצנעוהא לכם

    'You shall not make alongside Me objects of worship of silver, nor objects of worship of gold — you shall not make them for yourselves.'

21. Shemot 20:21

    מִזְבַּח אֲדָמָה תַּעֲשֶׂה-לִּי וְזָבַחְתָּ עָלָיו אֶת-עֹלֹתֶיךָ וְאֶת-שְׁלָמֶיךָ אֶת-צֹאנְךָ וְאֶת-בְּקָרֶךָ בְּכָל-הַמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר אַזְכִּיר אֶת-שְׁמִי אָבוֹא אֵלֶיךָ וּבֵרַכְתִּיךָ

    מד'בח עלי' אלארץ' תצנעה לי. ואד'בח עליה. צואעדך ודבאיח סלאמתך. מן ג'נמך ובקרך פי כל מוצ'ע אד'כר אסמי. אתגלא לך ואבארך פיך

    'An altar of earth you shall make for Me, and sacrifice upon it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings — from your flock and your cattle — in every place where I cause My name to be remembered; I will appear to you and bestow My blessing upon you.'

22. Shemot 20:22

    וְאִם-מִזְבַּח אֲבָנִים תַּעֲשֶׂה-לִּי לֹא-תִבְנֶה אֶתְהֶן גָּזִית כִּי חַרְבְּךָ הֵנַפְתָּ עָלֶיהָ וַתְּחַלְלֶהָ

    ואן צנעת לי מד'בחא מן חגארה. פלא תבנהא מהנדמה . לאנך אן חרכת חדידך עליהא בד'לתהא

    'And if you make for Me an altar of stones, you shall not build them hewn — for if you move your iron tool upon them, you have degraded them.'

23. Shemot 20:23

    וְלֹא-תַעֲלֶה בְמַעֲלֹת עַל-מִזְבְּחִי אֲשֶׁר לֹא-תִגָּלֶה עֶרְוָתְךָ עָלָיו

    ולא תצעד במראקי עלי' מד'בחי. ללא תכשף סוותך עליהא

    'And you shall not ascend by steps upon My altar, so that your nakedness not be uncovered upon it.'
